It starts with our technicians who have a minimum of ten years experience.  All technicians are thoroughly background screened when hired.  Each carries proof of our insurance and bonding with them.  We want our customers to feel safe and confident about who comes to their home.

Certified Technicians

Just who is coming into your home?  My Handyman values customer satisfaction and we recognize that customers have apprehensions about the contractor or handyman that shows up at their door.  My Handyman Technician Certification Program is a step by step training program that all our technicians go through.

It starts with the rigorous interview and selection process.  All our technicians have passed technical skills and knowledge tests, in-depth interviews and we background screen and drug & alcohol test every applicant. Only the best with over ten years of experience are hired.  My Handyman provides customer Service, technical and safety training in the office and on-line is followed by field training with an experienced technician before any tech is allowed to service our customers.

To earn certification a technician must have serviced at least one hundred customers and worked at least 500 hours on the job with satisfactory customer response.  We also have monthly meetings and on going training that our techs are required to participate in.  Certification must be renewed every year.

There’s more to a My Handyman Technician than just a company uniform and well stocked van.  He is a trained professional who is skilled and concerned about getting your work completed right!
